Getting Your Whole Congregation Growing and Engaging Scripture
Wednesday, June 23, Noon-1pm CDT
Palm Valley Church, Mission, TX
Rick Gannon, Senior Pastor
Palm Valley ranks among the top 5% of the most effective churches in America. This is no accident and it wasn’t always the case. Palm Valley’s story is about a church turnaround – growing from attendance of several hundred people to several thousand today. But it’s not about the numbers – it’s about the spiritual transformation that occurred along the way. We’ll hear very practical leadership insights and very practical ideas for next steps from a church that clearly knows how to open the hearts of its people so that God can work in their lives. At Palm Valley, discipleship is just a “normal” part of their culture. This webinar is designed to take you inside this incredible church and offer practical tools for discipleship in your church.

New Covenant is located in rural North Carolina with 700 members. Yet the impact they are having on their community is disproportionate to their size. They rank among the top 5% of the most effective churches in America. If you live in their county, you’ve probably felt their work. They’ve trained and deployed “community chaplains” to pray with people in the lobbies of unemployment offices, food pantries, and other benevolent organizations. When their county faced budget cuts, they partnered with 50 churches to scrape, paint, and landscape ALL the public schools. When other churches in their community had to cancel their Vacation Bible Schools, they organized a joint effort at a local school. This webinar will help churches of all sizes gain practical ideas for impacting our communities together.

When Fox River Church surveyed their congregation, they weren’t satisfied with how many in their congregation were growing deeper in their relationship with Christ. In the year since, this church of 2,000 has taken a series of innovative steps to get their congregation more engaged in group life and in scripture. Some of the steps they took are surprisingly simple, but have had a major impact. People’s attitudes and behaviors showed that they were growing deeper in their walk with Christ and the percentage of people exploring Christ in their church also went up. This webinar will unpack the steps that Fox River Church took and offer very practical ideas that your church team can use.
